Elemental chemical composition changes of Pinus sylvestris and Larix sibirica needles growing in different subzones of the taiga were revealed. It has been determined that compared to P. sylvestris, L. sibirica needles exhibit a higher degree of mineral nutrition element accumulation. In the subzone of the southern taiga, where natural conditions are severer, more nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium accumulate in the needles of light-coniferous tree species; in the sub-taiga subzone, where the climate is milder, more calcium, magnesium, and manganese accumulate. Tree-stands differ in the type of nutrition: in pine, when moving towards the southern taiga subzone, it changes from calcium-nitrogen
to potassium-nitrogen, in larch – from potassium-nitrogen to silicon-nitrogen.
